Fayetteville dogwood festival 2009

Hi there!
We just came back from Fayetteville, where we were exhibitors at the Dogwood Festival. I have not seen so many people in one place for a very long time! We had fun, got our fill of people watching, sold some nice pots and wood art.
I'll fill in more when i get my pictures on the computer.

My little studio...

I thought I would show you my little studio, and the veggie plots Gene built. He spent today ammending the soil and planting the seedlings. Last year we had no luck- perhaps we'll do better this year.

This is a pitcher that is a work in progress. Initially, the shape reminded me of a bird, so I decided to embelish it. It took quite a while to do all the carving by hand, but I did so enjoy the process. Since then, it has been bisqued, and I have glazed it...it is waiting for the fire....

Good Friday- The last day of Spring Break for the kids.... They have had a good time just hanging out, not rushing here or there, just being kids. Today it's off to the mall!
